I mixed up seasoning for a pork roast, and had some left over. It’s nothing more than salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Later, I was enjoying some Himalaya salt chips from Costco, and I accidentally dropped a chip into the bowl. The result was actually quite delicious, in a very !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . If I were to do it on purpose, I wouldn’t use as much, or any, salt, since the chips are salty to begin with. I t sure is good, though.

Official vocab guidelines state that we no longer refer to these as “happy accidents” they are now “happy collisions.”

Good point, we don’t want to be seen as excusing ttyymmnn’s negligent chip handling

I once, in my university dorm room - berift of food and in the middle of the night writing a huge essay - created the snack of dry Shreddies cereal where you dip them in peanut butter...as those were the only two things I had in my cupboard.

It’s surprisingly delicious! :D

Maybe try it on a baked potato? Also...

Necessity is the mother of invention. I survived grad school on peanut better toast. I was staying in a hotel that had been converted to graduate housing, and we were not allowed to cook in our rooms. We could, however, have a toaster. I ate so. much. toast.

Donny Don Most probably appreciated the paycheck for that gig.

Actually, I just checked IMDB and he’s quite busy these days,  and has been. Just nothing that I’ve ever seen.

Speaking of happy accidents, I randomly discovered for myself another flavor combo that I never knew was a thing : peanut butter and maple syrup . OMG. Better than PB&J, better than PB&honey, and... dare I say, it just might be better than PB&chocolate. Whoda thunk

Might have to try that. My wife is a fan of PB and bacon.
